It was released in 1988 for the purpose of making the world aware of the plight of children in Southern Africa in general but Zimbabwe in particular. My father was a Reverend and my mother devout Christian ( Methodist) and I was brought up in a Christian environment. There was a point in my life when I was fond of the beverage of a stronger nature and it looked like I was going down a road to nowhere. My mother inspired to write the songs on this Album. I needed a Higher Power to get back on

My father was a Reverend and my mother devout Christian ( Methodist) and I was brought up in a Christian environment. There was a point in my life when I was fond of the beverage of a stronger nature and it looked like I was going down a road to nowhere. My mother inspired to write the songs on this Album. I needed a Higher Power to get back on the right track hence the Title track “ Jesus Saved My Soul”. This is my first Gospel Album and probably not the last.
